Our members are the backbone of our preservation community.
By joining New London Landmarks, you're helping us both directly and indirectly.
Membership donations help us directly by enabling us to protect New London's historic places, conduct research, and create educational programs like last year's documentary "¡Estamos aquí! We are here! Puerto Rican Migration to New London, Connecticut" and our upcoming program on the history of New London's early Jewish community.
Less directly, memberships also help when we apply for grants. Most of the grant applications we fill out ask how many members we have because memberships are one way they gauge whether we're doing work our community supports.
